What The Solomon Island Living Memorial Project does
The Solomon Islands Living Memorial Project recognizes the sacrifices made by US service men during WWII and the role Solomon Islanders played in assisting them during the war. The program supports healthcare in Solomon Islands through regular medical and surgical care outreach visits provided by American healthcare specialists. More importantly it provides teaching and surgical education support to the doctors and nurses of the Solomon Islands so they may improve the delivery of care to their own people.
